Playa La Saladita is in the tropical coastal region of central Mexico.  During the winter months (December through March) the days are warm and comfortable with not too much humidity and almost every day is perfectly sunny.   Our summer months (May-September) tend to be hotter and more humid.  This is also our rainy season so expect some wetter days.

During our winter months the swell can be consistent and is typically around waist to chest high.  Nice and clean and perfect for beginner surfers and longboarders.  The larger southern hemi swells start to fill in around April and throughout the summer months when surf can be bigger and more challenging and better for experienced surfers.

The wave here in Playa La Saladita is a consistent left peeling point break.  We have waves all year round and some of the longest lefts along the Pacific coast.  The mostly gentle long and rolling waves allow for some amazing longboarding and perfecting the art and style of the cross step.  Its a fantastic spot to learn and progress as a surfer.
